Join us we welcome two iconic figures from our history to the library, Abraham Lincoln and Jefferson Davis.

Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865) and Jefferson Davis (1808-1889), both born in Kentucky, found themselves in direct opposition to one another during the Civil War as Presidents of the United States and Confederate States of America. In this unique program, both presidents will tell their respective stories.

These events funded in part by The Kentucky Humanities Council, Inc., and the national Endowment for the Humanities.
