Boaters Safety Course is required to rent any boats with a motor.  Please visit Boatus.org to obtain a Boaters Safety Card.  

We offer fast, hassle-free chain link fence and dog kennel rental to Soldiers living in housing at a low, competitive rate compared to off-post options. Monthly payments are due by the 10th of each month with several convenient payment methods available. A 30-day advance notice is needed in order schedule removal inside your billing cycle.

Weekday Rates

Applies to all equipment checked out Monday through Friday and returned within 24 hours or 30 minutes prior to closing on Friday, whichever comes first.

Weekend Rates

Applies to all equipment checked out on Friday or Saturday and returned on Monday. Price is for one day on the weekend, but since we are not open, you are charged for only one day. Items not returned 30 minutes prior to closing on Friday will be charged the weekend rate.

Holiday Rates

Same as above, except charged for 2 days.

Weekly Rates

Applies to all equipment checked out for seven full days.

Reservations

Reservations are accepted in person up to one calendar month in advance of date needed during normal business hours, Monday – Friday. Reservations for certain items can be made on WebTrac at least three days but not more than 30 days in advance of pick-up day. Reservations require an advance payment equal to the weekday rate. Motorized boats and travel trailer rentals require a minimum 24-hour notice. As of October 1, 2023, cash will no longer be taken as a form of payment. Card or check only.

Changes/Cancellations

A service fee of 10% of the weekday daily rate will be charged for any reservation changes or cancellations made at least three business days in advance of the scheduled pick-up day. No changes will be allowed within three days of scheduled pick-up. There is no refund of the advance payment for any reservation cancelled within 3 days of pickup (even if there are actual or forecasted adverse weather conditions or if the event the item(s) reserved for is cancelled). There are no refunds issued for reserved items that are not picked up.

Early Returns

There is no refund for items returned before date/time specified on the reservation

Late Returns

Length of reservation/usage may be extended by calling the Center before the original turn in time. If item is already reserved for same day or following day, no extension will be granted. If an extension is granted, you will be responsible for the normal daily fees. FAILURE TO RETURN EQUIPMENT BY SCHEDULED RETURN TIME (BUT RETURNED THE SAME DAY AS SCHEDULED) WILL BE ASSESSED A PENALTY OF 25% OF THE DAILY RATE. IF NOT RETURNED THE SAME DAY, THE PENALTY WILL INCREASE TO 2X THE DAILY RATE FOR EACH DAY UNTIL THE ITEM IS RETURNED.

Payment

All fees must be paid in full upon pick-up of equipment. VISA®, MasterCard®, or check is accepted. Payment not received at time of pick-up will result in a cancellation of the reservation and a forfeit of the deposit.

Cleaning of Equipment

All equipment must be returned clean. Equipment returned unclean will be charged a minimum $30 cleaning fee for each item or refused turn-in.

Repairs of Equipment

Equipment is not authorized to be repaired or serviced without prior approval from the Center. Equipment repaired without approval will be at the customer expense.

Damaged or Lost Equipment

Customers must thoroughly inspect all items before departing the Center to insure the items are clean, complete, and in good working order. Deficiencies not listed on the rental contract or inspection form will result in the customer being held responsible for all damages or missing items.

Accident or Stolen Equipment

The customer is responsible for obtaining an official accident or police report for any equipment involved in an accident or stolen.

Boater Safety Class

In order to rent any boats with a gasoline engine you must have completed a boater safety class. Classes are available online through The Boat U.S. Foundation. Upon completion, bring your certificate to the ECC where it will be annotated in your household.

Travel Trailer Class

In order to rent any travel trailer a camper information class must have been completed within the past 24 months. This class is offered Tuesday through Thursday at 1145 at the Equipment Checkout Center. There is no fee for this class. A previous travel trailer rental from this ECC will count as completion of this class.

Travel Trailers Towing Inspection

In order to rent any travel trailers you must have your vehicle inspected prior to renting for: towing capacity, hitch rating and proper light hookup.
