Armed Forces Kids Day Celebration.
You're invited to an exciting celebration of Armed Forces Day on Brooks Field! From bounce houses from 9am till 10am, to yard games before the run we'll have it all. For donations, Better Opportunity for Single Soldiers (BOSS) will have muffins, cupcakes and popcorn for you to enjoy. There will also be food and beverages for purchase! Face-painting and tattoos will be happening until the start of the race.
For kids 12 years and younger, the Kids Color Run will take place at 10am. There will be 1/2 mile and 1 mile route. The Kids Run will include a race bib and the first 150 registered runners will receive a shirt. The first 100 kids that register will receive a pizza coupon from the Strike Zone at Houston Bowling Center. The 5k run will take place at 10:30am after the Kids Run.
A free 15-minute Zumba warm up from 9:30am-9:45am will be happening before race time. Then a 10-minute cool down will be provided after runners finish from 11am to 11:30am. Then finally Zuma for kids will be from 11:30am till 12:00pm courtesy of our Group Fitness Instructors.

- For youth 12 years and younger
- First 150 pre-registered youth runners will receive a shirt.
