The Fort Knox community is invited to the grand opening of Castle Lake.
Located .4 miles north of the Hunt Control building on Wilson Road
The lake is 7 acres and was fully stocked with fish in 2021. Following the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony the event will feature demonstrations on fishing, fire building, tent construction, and plant and fish identification.
Live worms will also be provided, and children will have the opportunity to decorate wooden fish & animals.
Fishing will be allowed throughout the event; however, all anglers 16 and older must have both Kentucky and Fort Knox fishing licenses.
Fort Knox licenses can be purchased through the Fort Knox iSportsman website. Food and drink will be available for purchase.
