CEA: How to be a DJ Workshop

This workshop will be held at Balcombe Recreation Center

Get ready to drop the beat with this hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop that introduces
you to the fundamentals of DJing. From understanding the equipment and music structure to practicing basic transitions, you will leave with a foundational understanding of how to build and perform a basic DJ set using modern gear and software with Richy Smart a DJ, producer, and culture curator bridging sounds from ICT to DFW and worldwide!

Participants should bring:
• Personal Laptop
• A short playlist of 6-10 favorite songs
• Earphones or headphones
