Family Child Care Career Fair

Be your own boss! 

Earn a full-time, family-centered, income working from home while providing nurturing, safe childcare for other families in your own neighborhood. When you begin your career working as a Family Child Care Provider, you begin a career that moves with you to other duty stations. 

  • Training and assistance provided every step of the way. 
  • Military Child Care Center will provide a list of children for your daycare enrollment. 

Applicants who apply must be living in housing on Fort Knox. 

Request applicants bring the following documents to the Family Child Care Career Fair: 

  • Resume
  • Transcripts
  • Supporting Documents for Preference or Priority Consideration, if applicable (e.g., Military Spouse Orders/PCS Orders, DD 214, etc.)
  • Photo ID
  • Social Security Card

Interviews will be conducted during between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Leed Diets Community Center on August 29 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Oak Park Community Center at the job fair site.  If selected, the local HR Office may need the applicant to complete pre-employment consent forms, complete fingerprinting and/or schedule a physical prior to leaving the job fair.
