Cast your line and reel in the fun at the Free Kids Fishing Derby hosted by VFW Post 10281!
Come out to Camp Carlson for this amazing event for young anglers. This day is full of excitement and thrills as your child casts their lines and reel in their catch. A safety briefing will be given at 9:45 a.m. followed by the fishing starting at 10:00 a.m. All anglers should come with their own fishing equipment. The VFW Post 10281 will have a limited supply of loner poles for use.
Don't worry about bringing a lunch, there is one provided for all participants. Thanks to the VFW Post 10281, prizes will be provided at the end of the ceremony. This is a great opportunity for your child to learn about nature, conservation, and the importance of our Veterans' sacrifices.

- MUST PRE-REGISTER by June 4, 2025 (There will be NO day-of registration)
- Limited to the first 350 children

- Pick up and drop off registration forms at Sadowski Center Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. or email kidsfishingderby10281@gmail.com by June 4th!
