Summertime is synonymous with fun, music, and community celebrations — and this year, Fort Knox Freedom Fest ’26 is bigger, brighter, and more patriotic than ever as we celebrate the USA’s 250th birthday. On Saturday, July 4, Brooks Field on Fort Knox, Kentucky, will come alive with expanded festivities as we invite the public to join us for an unforgettable evening of entertainment, unity, and national pride. This milestone celebration honors 250 years of freedom while paying tribute to the brave men and women of the Armed Forces who protect it.
Building on the success of past large‑scale outdoor events, Fort Knox Family and MWR is proud to present an enhanced lineup designed to captivate attendees of all ages. One of the evening’s highlights will be electrifying live performances, playing variety hits and crowd‑favorite tunes. As music fills the air, families can enjoy an expanded Kids Zone, featuring exhilarating inflatable slides, obstacle courses, and more — offering endless fun for children throughout the night. A diverse selection of festival‑style food and beverages will also be available for purchase to satisfy every appetite.
Try your balance on our mechanical bull or challenge your fear of heights with our climbing wall!
At 9 p.m., the evening will pause for a powerful Salute to the Nation, followed by the grand finale: a spectacular professional fireworks show at 10:05 p.m. This year’s display is set to be the most breathtaking yet — a sky‑filling tribute to 250 years of American spirit, freedom, and unity.
Patrons are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets for seating.
