It has come to my attention that the most anticipated affair of the season is soon to unfold within the charming location of the Saber & Quill Courtyard. On the evening of July 18, from seven to nine o’clock, society’s finest will gather for what promises to be a night of elegance, intrigue, and perhaps a whisper of mischief.

A string quartet will serenade the ton as they glide across the floor in free‑range ballroom dancing, while hors d’oeuvres and cocktails ensure spirits remain as high as the Queen’s expectations. Speaking of Her Majesty, she is expected to make an appearance — and where the Queen goes, your faithful correspondent is never far behind.

Guests may indulge in outdoor games, retreat to the Gentlemen’s Lounge, or enjoy the romance of horse‑drawn carriage rides beneath the summer sky. But let it be known: all eyes will be watching for the crowning of the Diamond of the Season, both lady and gentleman. Dress accordingly, for fashion missteps are far more difficult to forgive than social ones.
