Ladies Introduction To Shooting

The course introduces the fundamentals of safe firearms handling, how firearms work, and basic marksmanship principles across the firearms platforms of pistol, rifle, and shotgun in a female only classroom environment. This is done to foster a comfort level for the students without worry of prejudice or stigma allowing for a more pleasant learning experience.

The intent is to allow the attendees to gain a better knowledge of the proper and safe handling of firearms, the mechanical function of firearms, proper use of a firearm for basic shooting.

The goal is to have the participants leave with the knowledge of how to handle a firearm in a safe manner in and around the home and while on the range.

Weapons and ammunition are included in the course.

Firearms brought onto Fort Knox must meet the Registration Policy.
