Cheer on Soldiers and friends from around the world as they compete in the Army Entertainment Esports Championship: Street Fighter V tournament!

Program Overview

Ft. Knox has partnered with Army Entertainment, USAA, and MGM Resorts to execute a worldwide tournament, which combines our Soldier's love of competition with an exciting on-site activity. Soldiers will be able to compete from 8 local garrisons all over the world (USA, Germany, South Korea), while the world tunes in for a glimpse into their lives as they game. The best of the best will then move on to our Grand Finals at PAX West in Seattle, Washington in September.

Tournament Schedule

• Fort Bliss, Texas: July 28, 2018  at 3 p.m. EST
• Fort Gordon, Georgia: August 11, 2018 at 1 p.m. EST
• Joint Base Lewis-McChord: August 18, 2018 at 4 p.m. EST
• USAG Alaska - Fort Wainwright: August 25, 2018 at 5 p.m. EST

Additional Qualifying Locations:

• USAG Bavaria, Germany
• Fort Riley, Kansas
• Fort Knox, Kentucky
• USAG Humphreys, South Korea

*Please note that the additional qualifying locations' Street Fighter V tournaments will not be live streamed on Twitch.

Finals Schedule

The 8 finalists will have the opportunity to represent their garrison during the Army Entertainment Esports Championship Finals in Seattle at PAX West over Labor Day Weekend. The finals will be live streamed on our Twitch channel: ArmyEntertainment

What's at Stake?

The 8 local winners will receive a prize package that includes the opportunity to represent their garrison during the Army Entertainment Esports Championship Finals in Seattle at PAX West (lodging, airfare, and transportation accommodations included), a 2-night stay at an MGM Resort in Las Vegas, and more! Additionally, the Grand Champion will win Street Fighter V branded prize package and trophy, valued over $2,500!

Contest Rules

Participants must be a Department of Defense ID Cardholder (Active Duty, Retirees, Family Members, and DoD Civilian Employees). Family and MWR employees who are directly involved in the planning and execution of the Army Entertainment Esports Championship Series: Street Fighter V tournament and online giveaway, at any garrison, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to win. Eligible participants must be 18 years old or older. Prize winners will be asked to verify eligibility. The online giveaway closes at 11:59 p.m. US Eastern Time on Monday, August 27, 2018.
