Tree Lighting Ceremony

You are invited to kick-off the Holiday Season with the annual lighting of the tree.

You are invited to kick-off the Holiday Season with the annual lighting of the tree. Event activities will include:

  • Meet and greet with Santa
  • Free refreshments
  • Letters to Santa mailbox for children
  • Fort Knox Schools Choir
  • The Trombone Quartet from the 100th Army Band

This is a free community event open to the public.

We are happy to announce that Trees for Troops will once again be a part of our Tree Lighting Ceremony!

Real Christmas Trees will be distributed to Active Duty, National Guard, Reserve Soldiers, and their families. immediately following the Tree Lighting Ceremony. 

Free trees are for Active Duty, National Guard, and Reserve ID card holders only. Limit one tree per family while they last.

Presented by The Christmas Spirit Foundation, Federal Express Delivery Corporation and The National Christmas Tree Association.
