Note: This event has already passed.

Dating abuse can be a significant problem for teens as young as middle school. Safe Dates is an effective, research-based program that targets the attitudes and behaviors associated with dating abuse and violence. The program helps teens more clearly define what a healthy dating relationship is and what dating abuse is. It helps them understand the causes and harmful effects of dating abuse, as well as key ways to prevent dating abuse from happening. The program is comprised of four sessions which will be held November 3rd, 5th, 10th, and the 17th.

If you should have any questions about the Safe Dates program, please do not hesitate to call the Family Advocacy Program Victim Advocate at (502) 888-5796 or the Devers Middle School and Teen Center at (502) 624-6442.
