The following beers will be provided at the run, compliments of our sponsors Against the Grain:
- BLK PILS: is a dark lager, brewed in the Schwarzbier style, which is known for its use of dark malts. This beer has a smooth, roasty flavor profile with a balancing bitterness. At 5% ABV, it offers a sessionable experience while delivering the characteristic depth of roasted barley, chocolate malt, and a subtle sweetness. The beer's marketing also emphasizes its playful, dark character, encouraging drinkers to embrace the "dark side" of pilsner beers.
- Bock a Doodle Doo: is a creative take on the Helles Bock style. This lager features a 7.4% ABV and is known for its balanced profile, showcasing a light malt sweetness paired with floral hop notes. The beer offers a subtle, gentle hop presence that complements the slightly sweet malt body, making it both refreshing and flavorful. Ideal for those who enjoy a well-crafted bock with a bit of a hoppy twist.
- Sol Mate Citrus Wheat: is a refreshing citrus wheat ale with a 5.7% ABV. This beer combines wheat and citrus, creating a creamy texture and a burst of citrus flavor. It has a strong aroma reminiscent of ripe orange orchards and leaves a lingering sunny essence in each sip. Designed as a summer seasonal, it perfectly embodies the light and refreshing qualities you’d expect from a warm-weather brew.
- Domestic: this domestic style lager is crisp, light, and refreshing, with a clean, bright flavor profile. It features delicate floral and citrus notes, making it highly drinkable. Subtle sweetness complements its dry, crisp finish, resulting in an easy-drinking beer perfect for warm weather or pairing with lighter foods. With a moderate ABV of 4.9%, it offers a balance of refreshment and character without overpowering the palate.
After the run, come hang our at Tap Takeover at Right Arm Night inside Fiddlers' Green, where we will be featuring more delicious craft beer on tap from Against the Grain.
